“The EBHC listserv is our in house multipurpose communication site. On it we post minutes, ask for help, make offers and invitations, warn each other about danger, and other general goings on. Here are guidelines for maintaining considerate communication;

1. Avoid personal attacks or harassment defined by: ” the act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group including threats and demands”*. In other words, don’t be a jerk.
2. When appropriate take the conversation into personal email to avoid overburdening the listserv.
3. Use the email header to describe your email making it easy to choose to read, or pass by.”
